About the Event

Welcome to Between Pictures Project photography exhibition launch.

The Between Pictures Project conducts photography workshops with children at The Street Academy, Chosen Children Centre, and PACODEP in Accra and Volta Regions of Ghana.

Lessons centre on storytelling, technique, and individual perspective.

Lost Childhood: Ghana Through Children's Eyes

is the culmination of workshops held from 2019 to 2021. We are thrilled to present powerful images captured by our young students. The exhibition is curated by our great photo editor Régina Monfort.

The launch will be highlighted by a multimedia presentation including National Geographic award winning work and unpublished documentary photographs chronicling the fringes of Ghanaian youth. The event guest speaker will be the wonderful actress and standing comedian Nuala McKeever. Live music will be playing by amazing musicians: Peter Sumadh & No Naime.

This is a fundraising event. Proceeds from ticket sales, print sales, and donations go directly to our Ghanaian partner NGOs to support education, school feeding programs, and child slave rehabilitation.

This roaming exhibition will be presented in Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, Poland, and Ghana.
